Dr. Glenn Toby holds a position that is simple and slightly inconvenient. The audience does not travel to the work. The work travels.

Announcements
Issued by the exhibition
Announcements issued by The King’s Exhibition and its partners are listed here rather than under coverage. A release is a document we wrote. It is not reporting about us.

For institutions
The works travel because most people will otherwise never stand in front of one. They have been shown in a county arts center in southwest Atlanta with free public admission, alongside one hundred Georgia artists on Peachtree Street, and in rooms in Columbia and Miami Beach. Where they go next is decided by who asks.
What travels
Two framed works, their documentation, and condition notes prepared from direct examination. The collection travels with the works.
What we ask of a room
Secure wall space, controlled light, and a host willing to open the doors to the public rather than to a list. Arts centers, museums, schools, libraries and festivals are all welcome to ask.
What it supports
Proceeds from these evenings have gone to The Book Bank Foundation, the 501(c)(3) founded by Dr. Glenn Toby, which works on literacy, hunger and homelessness in Atlanta and New York.
For artists
The exhibition travels, and every room is built from what arrives. Artists working in any medium are invited to submit work for consideration in the mobile gallery. Tell us who you are and what you make.

Hidden works
Some works are meant to be encountered, not previewed. Access is granted by request.

Come join us for the unveiling.
